Vigo

Vigo

Vigo is an English learning platform with structured paths, a content library and CEFR-aligned measurement — a base for building programmes tailored to any need.

The problem with every investment in English

The money spent is clear; the result is not. Learners start keen and thin out after a few months, and by the end of the year the simplest question turns out to be the hardest one to answer: how much did they actually improve?

What Vigo is

Vigo is not a course. It is the platform courses are built on — a content library, a learning-path engine, speaking and writing practice tools, and one shared measurement and reporting system.

Learners on different programmes still sit on the same scale, so they can be rolled into a single reporting cycle.

The Vigo app — learning path, lessons and listening tasks

Three capability blocks

Learning paths by school year in the Vigo app

Learning paths

Work is assigned weekly, in the right order and at the right level for each learner. Miss a week and you catch up the next. The intensity is set at a pace working adults and school students can sustain across a full year.

Lessons and conversation listening tasks in the Vigo app

Speaking and writing

The two skills hardest to practise through an app. Vigo includes AI speaking practice and full written tasks, plus live online classes of up to five learners so someone is actually listening and correcting.

Placement testing and activities by skill

CEFR measurement

A placement test sets the right starting level, followed by checkpoints through the year. Reports follow the CEFR framework, so they can be used for HR records and partner requirements.

Two ways to deploy

Off-the-shelf courses

A library ready to use immediately, in three groups: general English, exam preparation (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL ITP), and English for specific occupations.

Custom-built programmes

Reconfigured from the same content library to fit a specific need. Already built: a three-level CEFR corporate programme, five programmes for school years 7–11 aligned to the national textbooks, and two exam preparation tracks for VSTEP and IELTS.

Both approaches share one learning path and one reporting system, so they can run side by side under a single contract.
