Cloud & IT Services

Infrastructure, operations and DevOps for business systems — from design through to handover.

Software does not stay up on programming alone

A good system can still die from things nobody watches: a server filling up at midnight, a backup never once tested by restoring it, a cloud bill that doubles with no clear cause, or an update pushed out that cannot be rolled back. This is the work that sits between engineering and the business — usually nobody's job, until something breaks.

Three service groups

Infrastructure

Designing, deploying and running the infrastructure behind your system: servers, databases, networking and access control. We work on international cloud, domestic cloud and servers hosted on your own premises — chosen for your data requirements and budget rather than pushing everything to the cloud by default.

Operations and DevOps

Automating the path from code to production, monitoring and alerting when a system starts behaving oddly, backups with restore drills, and periodic cost reviews.

Software as a service

For TEQTO products such as ControlMES or Vigo, clients can run on infrastructure we operate: no servers to buy, no in-house IT team required, paid for by usage.

Running systems for clients in several countries

Our team currently manages and operates systems for partners in the UK, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Singapore.

Working across time zones forces everything into the open: incident procedures written down rather than held in one person's head, shift handovers on the record, and technical discussion in English. That is how we work with domestic clients as well.

What we do differently

Monitoring dashboards for server resources and a Kubernetes cluster

We run the infrastructure behind our own products. ControlMES runs inside factories, where the system stopping means production stopping with it. Vigo and Vigo Exam serve learners and exam sittings on fixed dates that cannot be moved.

That pressure is nothing like running a website. It forces us to think ahead about questions such as: where does the data go if the network drops mid-shift, how long does a restore take, and who gets woken at two in the morning.

Three principles

No lock-in to one provider

Infrastructure is built with standard tooling so it can be moved when needed. Clients keep ownership of their own accounts and data.

A backup you have never restored is not a backup

We run restore drills on a schedule rather than making copies and leaving them alone.

Handover so you can run it yourself

Delivered with documentation and training. If the business wants to take over later, it can, without being tied to us.

Who this suits

  • Businesses with no IT team of their own but with a system that has to stay up
  • Businesses that already have IT but need specialists in infrastructure and operations automation
  • Factories running manufacturing software that need infrastructure able to take continuous operation

Where is your system actually running?

We review your current infrastructure and point out the risks along with where cost can be saved.
